Representatives from the Embassy of India held a meeting at the premises of Codelco
with corporate leaders responsible for industrial cleaning services and energy and
water efficiency to discuss cooperation in the mining sector.
The discussions focused on worker safety in mining operations, sustainable industrial
practices, energy efficiency and opportunities to strengthen India–Chile collaboration
in areas linked to mining and resource management.
The interaction also highlighted Codelco’s commitment to sustainability, innovation
and responsible mining practices, including initiatives aimed at improving workplace
safety and enhancing efficient use of resources.
The meeting reflected shared priorities between India and Chile in promoting
sustainable industrial growth and expanding bilateral economic engagement in
strategic sectors.
