India and Mexico Strengthen Collaboration Ahead of WHO Traditional Medicine Summit
India and Mexico are deepening their partnership in traditional and integrative healthcare as the world prepares for the 2nd WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine (17–19 Dec 2025, New Delhi). The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to evidence-based practices and holistic healthcare solutions.

The initiative emphasizes institutional and research cooperation, aligning with the WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034. By combining ancient knowledge with modern science, both countries aim to advance sustainable and innovative approaches to health.

Co-hosted by the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre and India’s Ministry of Ayush, the Summit provides a global platform to balance tradition and innovation while promoting well-being. Experts from both nations are exploring collaborative research, knowledge exchange, and integrative healthcare models.

This growing dialogue strengthens health diplomacy between Asia and Latin America, fostering long-term partnerships and reinforcing the global role of traditional medicine. India and Mexico’s joint efforts exemplify how shared knowledge systems can create impactful solutions in public health.
