Ambassador of India Attends Swearing-in Ceremony of the President of Honduras
Ambassador of India to Honduras, H.E. Mr. Raj Kumar Singh, attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Hon’ble President of Honduras, H.E. Mr. Nasry Asfura, marking an important moment in Honduras’ democratic process and leadership transition.
During his interaction with the Hon’ble President, Ambassador Singh conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the Hon’ble President and the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. He reaffirmed India’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Honduras across political, economic, and people-to-people domains.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Ambassador also met the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Honduras, Embajadora H.E. Mireya Agüero de Corrales. During the interaction, he conveyed India’s warm greetings and discussed avenues to deepen and expand India–Honduras cooperation, including enhanced diplomatic engagement and mutually beneficial collaboration.
The engagements underscored India’s continued emphasis on strengthening partnerships in Central America and reinforcing dialogue with Honduras at bilateral and multilateral levels.
