ISA Team Visits Chile Ahead of 7th Regional Committee Meeting
An advance team from the International Solar Alliance (ISA) visited Chile to prepare for the upcoming 7th Regional Committee Meeting for Latin America and the Caribbean, scheduled for August 5–7, 2025, in Santiago. The visit marks a significant step in strengthening solar energy cooperation across the region.

Ambassador Abhilasha Joshi warmly welcomed the ISA delegation and expressed strong support for the alliance’s ongoing collaboration with Chile. During the meeting, the team provided an overview of the event’s agenda, key goals, and expected outcomes. They also shared updates on ISA’s current programs aimed at scaling up solar energy use across Latin America and the Caribbean.

ISA’s efforts are focused on creating a supportive environment for solar energy development by attracting investments, promoting technology transfer, and encouraging international cooperation.
