MoS Pabitra Margherita Calls on President Daniel Noboa in Quito
Union Minister of State for External Affairs &Textiles, Shri Pabitra Margherita, called on H.E. Daniel Noboa, President of Ecuador, during his official engagements in Quito. The Minister conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the people of India, reaffirming India’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Ecuador.

In a warm and productive meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen and diversify bilateral cooperation. Key areas included trade and investment, digital public infrastructure, capacity-building, renewable energy, agriculture, and technology-driven collaboration.

President Noboa welcomed India’s growing presence in the region and expressed Ecuador’s interest in taking forward new avenues of cooperation. The Minister underlined that the establishment of India’s resident Embassy in Quito marks a significant step toward enhancing political, economic, and cultural ties.

The meeting added momentum to the Ministers engagements in Ecuador and reinforced the shared commitment to elevating India-Ecuador relations.
