India’s textile sector took center stage at the Brazil Yarn & Fabric Sourcing Show (LATAMTEX) as Consul General Hansraj Singh Verma formally inaugurated the India Pavilion, marking a renewed push to deepen India–Brazil trade in yarns and fabrics.
The pavilion, organized with the participation of Indian companies led by @TexprocilIndia, highlighted India’s expanding capabilities across cotton yarns, blended fabrics, and sustainable textile solutions. During his visit, the Consul General engaged with exhibitors, acknowledging their innovation, product quality, and readiness to meet the growing demands of Brazil’s textile and apparel industry.
He underlined that India’s textile strengths—ranging from competitive pricing to diverse product lines—position the country as a reliable partner for Latin America’s sourcing needs. As bilateral trade between India and Brazil continues to broaden, the textile sector offers a promising pathway for further collaboration and market expansion.
The India Pavilion at LATAMTEX served not only as a platform for business matchmaking but also as a reaffirmation of the two countries’ commitment to strengthening commercial ties, fostering industrial cooperation, and creating new opportunities for exporters and buyers across the region.
