Embassy of India in Chile Marks 77th Foundation Day of ICCR
On the occasion of the 77th Foundation Day of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the Embassy of India in Santiago celebrated ICCR’s enduring contribution to strengthening India’s cultural diplomacy and fostering people-to-people connections across the world.

Since its establishment in 1950, ICCR has played a pivotal role in promoting cultural exchanges, academic partnerships, and mutual understanding through scholarships, cultural programmes, and global collaborations. Its initiatives have helped build lasting bridges between India and countries around the world.

In Chile as well, ICCR’s efforts continue to bring communities closer, supporting cultural dialogue and deepening mutual appreciation. These initiatives have contributed significantly to strengthening the vibrant and growing India–Chile partnership.
