India’s growing reputation as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship received a major boost this week as Ambassador Abhilasha Joshi attended the official launch of EtMday 2025: International Summit on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Investment, hosted at the iconic Sky Costanera in Santiago.
The launch set the stage for this year’s edition of EtMday, scheduled for November 2025, which is expected to attract more than 45,000 participants including entrepreneurs, corporates, investors, and international leaders making it one of the largest platforms of its kind in Latin America.
In a significant recognition, India has been named the Guest Country of Honor at EtMday 2025. This distinction underscores India’s rising stature in the global innovation ecosystem, driven by its vibrant startup culture, cutting-edge technological advances, and expanding digital economy.
Speaking at the launch, Ambassador Joshi emphasized that India’s participation will not only showcase its entrepreneurial dynamism but also deepen collaboration with Chile and the wider Latin American region. This honor reflects the growing bonds between India and Chile, and it opens new doors for building bridges of innovation, investment, and shared growth, she noted.
Special acknowledgment was extended to Daniel Daccareft Imbarack, Co-Founder of Fundacin Emprende tu Mente, whose leadership has been instrumental in forging this strategic partnership. With India’s elevated role at EtMday 2025, both sides expressed optimism about unlocking new opportunities in technology, sustainability, and global collaboration.
