Ambassador of India to Brazil, Shri Dinesh Bhatia met with Mr. Alex Dias Carvalho, President of the Federation of Industries of the State of Par(FIEPA) , for an important discussion focused on expanding bilateral economic cooperation. The meeting highlighted the growing effort to move beyond traditional centers of commerce in Brazil and explore opportunities in regions like Par, a state known for its abundant natural resources, industrial strength, and significant role in exports.
Ambassador Bhatia emphasized Indias interest in sectors where complementarities are strongmining, renewable energy, food processing, and infrastructure developmentwhile also noting Indias expertise in technology, pharmaceuticals, and digital solutions. Mr. Carvalho shared FIEPAs vision of building sustainable partnerships that go beyond trade to foster industrial collaboration and value addition to Pars raw materials.
Both leaders agreed that greater engagement between Indian businesses and Pars industries could open new pathways for trade and investment, generate employment, and contribute to the broader agenda of South-South cooperation.
