The Embassy of India participated in Expo Embajadas 2026, organized by the Municipality of San Isidro, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn more about India’s cultural heritage, educational opportunities and tourism offerings alongside those of other participating countries.

The event highlighted study and professional training opportunities available through the ITEC and ICCR scholarship programmes, while also promoting some of India’s most renowned tourist destinations. Visitors were introduced to avenues for academic exchange and capacity-building that continue to strengthen international educational cooperation.

The Embassy also presented vibrant Indian dance performances, showcasing the diversity, creativity and rich cultural traditions of India. These cultural activities attracted significant public interest and contributed to greater appreciation of Indian heritage among attendees.

The participation reflected India’s continued commitment to cultural diplomacy and people-to-people engagement, further strengthening the bonds of friendship, mutual understanding and cultural exchange between India and Peru.
