During his visit to Corrientes Province, Ambassador Ajaneesh Kumar met with representatives of the Federation of Economic of Corrientes, Industry, Labour and Commerce Minister Mariel Gabur, and Federation President Guillermo Basabe to discuss opportunities for expanding India-Corrientes cooperation.

The Ambassador highlighted potential collaboration in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, heavy machinery, engineering goods, auto parts, agricultural equipment, technology, organic products, chemicals, and the timber sector. The discussions underscored the scope for strengthening commercial and industrial partnerships between India and the province.

Ambassador Kumar also visited the National University of the Northeast (UNNE), where he met Rector Omar Larroza. They explored institutional cooperation through memoranda of understanding with Indian universities, virtual workshops, hackathons, and scholarship opportunities under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) programmes. The visit reflected India's commitment to deepening both economic and educational ties with Argentina's provinces.
