India Showcases Defense Strength at LAAD 2025 in Brazil
India marked a major milestone in its global defense outreach with the inauguration of the India Pavilion at LAAD 2025, one of Latin America's leading defense exhibitions. The pavilion was officially opened by Ambassador of India to Brazil, Shri Suresh K. Reddy.

Highlighting India’s growing defense capabilities, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) presented its advanced technologies and systems. The DRDO stall quickly became a major attraction at the event, drawing visitors from various countries, including General Tomás Paiva, Commander of the Brazilian Army, who personally visited and engaged with DRDO representatives.

India has also deepened international defense cooperation with countries such as Brazil, Russia, and Israel, through various agreements focused on joint research and development.

The India Pavilion, which included top Indian defense firms like BEL and HAL, signals India’s intent to be a major player in the global defense market and to strengthen strategic ties with Latin America and beyond.
