India Inaugurates New Embassy Chancery in La Paz, Marking a New Chapter in India–Bolivia Relations
 In a significant milestone for India’s diplomatic engagement with South America, Union Minister of State for External Affairs Shri Pabitra Margherita inaugurated the new chancery building of the Embassy of India in La Paz, Bolivia.

The inauguration marks a new chapter in the growing partnership between India and Bolivia, reflecting New Delhi’s commitment to deepening its presence and cooperation across political, economic, and cultural spheres.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shri Margherita underlined that the new chancery would serve as a vibrant bridge of friendship, trade, and cultural cooperation, reaffirming India’s vision of shared growth and South–South solidarity.

India and Bolivia have been expanding collaboration in areas such as pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, mining, capacity building, and cultural exchange. The establishment of the new chancery will further enhance people-to-people contact and institutional partnerships, fostering greater connectivity between both nations.

The opening of the chancery in La Paz stands as a testament to the enduring friendship between India and Bolivia and to their shared aspiration for closer cooperation and mutual progress.
