India and Chile Reaffirm Commitment to Parliamentary and Cultural Cooperation
Ambassador Abhilasha Joshi and her team paid a courtesy call on Deputy Daniel Bustos Leal, Member of Chile’s Chamber of Deputies and President of the India–Chile Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, at the former National Congress Building in Santiago.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between India and Chile in agriculture, parliamentary exchanges, cultural engagement and people-to-people ties. Both sides exchanged views on enhancing institutional collaboration and identifying new opportunities to expand bilateral engagement across diverse sectors.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of cultural outreach initiatives and parliamentary diplomacy in fostering greater mutual understanding and strengthening connections between the peoples and institutions of both countries.

The interaction reaffirmed the shared commitment of India and Chile to deepening their longstanding friendship and advancing a growing strategic partnership based on cooperation, dialogue and mutual respect.
