The social space and time of the Global South are diverse and enigmatic. Our platform’s mission is to showcase the mutual interest of researchers from two key regions of the modern world: South Asia and Latin America. The lens of contemporary interdisciplinary research allows us to provide a fresh perspective on social and political challenges faced by developing communities worldwide, based on network interaction, academic research, exploratory research, and citizen science. We welcome a broad exchange of data and research, presentations of analytical centres (think tanks), and an open dialogue on the most pressing issues of interaction between India and LATAM. We are primarily interested in exchanging ideas within the framework of cross-cultural and interdisciplinary research based on cultural studies and social studies, as well as supporting initiatives and providing a platform for mutual enrichment of knowledge, cultures, and scientific interests.
